Take your palate on a joy ride with Tobacco leaf, juicy nectarine, and lavender hovering in a cloud of charcoal smoke. It ends on a zesty note of pepper, just to give you a little something to remember it by.

CHERRY VODKA

Grand Cherry Vodka: “Clear. Bold aromas of artisanal maraschino cherries have a distinct chocolate marzipan cookie note and follow through on a supple, satiny entry to a dryish, glycerous medium-to-full with a tingling peppery spice accent. Finishes with a crisp, drying and white pepper, cocoa-dusted cherry skin, and mineral fade. Great cherry aromas, but rather faint on the palate and prickly on the finish; nevertheless, this should mix very well and pop in cocktails.”‚Äč

"OLE GEORGE" RYE WHISKEY

Ole George: “Ole George opens with floral and fruit tonalities along with the rye spiciness and then you detect oak and more spice followed by long finish with a little smoke and char.  Very well balanced and quite flavorful for a 93 proof spirit.”

The Miss Congeniality of spirits, it's hard to find something not to like here. Its refined and satiny feel displays notes of honeysuckle, dark cherry, and dusty wood before finishing with the spicy thrill of fennel and cloves.

Grand Traverse Peninsula Gin [USA; Grand Traverse Distillery; Traverse City, MI]

"Clear as spring water; flawless purity. Initial inhalations are overwhelmed by the rush of botanical lushness and animation as juniper, orange peel, coriander, and especially Grains of paradise that dazzle all within the span of a nanosecond; the second passes come across with even more citrus, this time lime zest. Entry is engagingly fruity/citrusy and even a little bit floral/flora as I detect rose petal and pine elements that seem to explode on the tongue; mid-palate is awash in rainbows of flavor, from lemon to orange/tangerine to roses to dried herbs to seeds to spices. The finish is like flavor fireworks in the mouth."
