Vanilla Whiskey Sour

Ingredients - 

  • 2 ounces Grand Traverse Distillery Bourbon
  • 1 ounce vanilla simple syrup*
  • 3/4 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Orange slice and cherry with a stem

​Method - 

  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and add ice. Shake well until chilled and strain into a Old Fashioned glass with ice and garnish with a orange slice and a cherry with stem.

​*Vanilla Simple Syrup -

Ingredients - 

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • vanilla bean - split down the middle length wise

​Method -

  • Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a non-reactive pan. Once the sugar has dissolved add the vanilla bean and remove from the heat. Allow to come to room temperature, bottle and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

Henry Miller - (The Darby, New York, NY)

Ingredients - 

  • 3 strawberries
  • 2 ounces Grand Traverse Distillery Bourbon
  • 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 4 to 4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 ounce soda

​Method -

  • Muddle 2 strawberries in a cocktail shaker. Add the remaining ingredients (except soda) and shake with ice. Strain into a Collins glass over ice. Top with soda and garnish with the remaining strawberry.

Manhattan

Ingredients - 

  • 1&1/2 ounces GTDistillery Bourbon
  • 1/8 ounce of Grenadine [we only use Quince & Apple Tart Cherry Grenadine]
  • dash of bitters

​Method - 

  • Add the ingredients to a cocktail glass with some ice and stir. Cheers!

The Revolver

Ingredients - 

  • 1&1/2 ounces of GTDistillery Bourbon
  • 1/3 ounce of coffee liquor [we make our own]
  • bitters

Method - 

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail glass with ice and enjoy.

GTD Negra 

Ingredients - 

  • 1&1/2 ounces GTDistillery Bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 ounce of mint simple syrup
  • Vernor's Ginger Ale

Method - 

  • Place the bourbon, balsamic vinegar and syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake to mix and strain into a iced cocktail glass and top with Vernor's!

Bourbon Alexander

Ingredients - 

  • 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • /4 ounces of GTDistillery Bourbon
  • 3/4 ounces of coffee liquor [we make our own]
  • chocolate syrup to taste

​Method - 

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a large glass and enjoy!

Bourbon Nog

Ingredients - 

  • 4 ounces of Egg Nog of your choice
  • 1&1/2 to 2 ounces of GTDistillery Bourbon

​Method - 

  • Mix together over ice in a cocktail glass and top with a dash of fresh nutmeg. Cheers!

Bourbon & Cider - Perry Harmon

Ingredients -

  • 1&1/2 oz. GTDistillery Bourbon
  • 2&1/2 apple cider
  • 1/4 to 1/2 oz. local maple syrup

​Method -

  • Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake to mix. Pour over ice in a rocks glass and enjoy.

Whiskey Sour - Perry harmon

Ingredients - 

  • 1&1/2 oz. GTDistillery Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz. Quince & Apple Citrus

​Method -

  • Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake to mix. Pour over ice in a rocks glass, top off with sparkling water, stir and enjoy.
